Emergency Call-Out

Boiler down?
Call.

Rapid response across Sevenoaks and Kent for boiler breakdowns, leaks and refrigerant faults. Direct-to-engineer dispatch, not a triage call centre.

What we install

Included scope.

  • Boiler & heating breakdowns
  • Refrigerant fault response
  • Leak & burst-pipe attendance
  • Out-of-hours commercial
  • Landlord emergency cover
  • Server-room cooling rescue
  • Direct engineer dispatch
  • Fixed in one visit where possible
Our process

From call to engineer on site.

A real emergency response process — not a triage call centre. Five steps from the moment you call to the moment heat or water is back.

  1. Phone or WhatsApp — direct to engineer, not a script-reader. Two minutes to confirm the symptoms and severity.
  2. Dispatch decision — in our core Kent coverage area, weekday daytime: 60-90 minute response. Out of hours: triage and dispatch at the appropriate rate.
  3. On-site diagnosis (30-60 min) — identify the failure, scope the fix, agree the cost before parts go in. No surprises.
  4. Fix or stabilise — most domestic boiler and AC failures can be fixed same-visit. For parts-not-on-van failures, we secure the property and return next working day.
  5. Documentation — invoice itemised, parts replaced listed, work-done report emailed within 24 hours. Insurance paperwork on request.
What we install

What counts as an emergency.

The 24/7 line is for genuine emergencies. The list below is what we respond to out-of-hours; anything else is a next-business-day service call.

  • No heat or hot water in winter — especially with vulnerable occupants (elderly, infants, medical needs).
  • Gas leak suspected — call the National Gas Emergency Service first on 0800 111 999, then call us for the repair once gas is isolated.
  • Refrigerant leak from AC system — especially if R32 or R410A: ventilate, isolate, call us.
  • Boiler condensate flood — water leaking from boiler, leaking into ceiling below, soaking insulation.
  • Pressure-relief valve discharging continuously — indicates expansion vessel failure or worse.
  • CO alarm triggered — turn boiler off, open windows, get everyone out, call us once outside.
  • Commercial AC failure affecting trading — offices in summer, restaurants, retail with refrigerated stock.

Not an emergency: radiator cold at the top (bleed it), thermostat batteries flat, single light on the boiler controller flashing without loss of heat. Call us next working day for these.

Pricing guide

Call-out charges.

Emergency charging is transparent: a call-out fee covering the engineer's time on site, plus parts and labour for the fix itself.

  • Standard call-out (weekday daytime, core area): £95-£145 (includes first hour)
  • Out-of-hours call-out (evening, weekend, bank holiday): standard rate + 50% out-of-hours premium
  • Subsequent labour after first hour: £65-£85 per hour
  • Parts: at trade + 15% margin, itemised on invoice
  • Contract clients (PPM customers): priority response, fixed call-out rates, agreed at contract setup

No diagnostic-only fee — if we can't identify the fault we don't charge for the visit.

Safety

Gas Safe, F-Gas, OHS.

Emergency work runs to the same compliance standards as planned work. No corners cut because of urgency.

  • Gas Safe registered: all gas emergency work by Gas Safe registered engineers. ID cards on site, certificate lodged after the repair.
  • F-Gas certified: all refrigerant work by REFCOM-certified engineers. Refrigerant logged in the F-Gas logbook.
  • Carbon monoxide testing: standard on every gas emergency visit, even when not the reported issue.
  • Electrical isolation: we work to BS 7671 isolation standards on any combined gas + electrical fault.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly do you respond?

In our core Kent coverage area, weekday daytime response is typically 60-90 minutes from call. Out-of-hours response is triage-then-dispatch: we phone within 15 minutes of your call and confirm an arrival window depending on severity and engineer availability.

Do you charge a call-out fee even if you can't fix it?

No. If we can't identify the fault during the visit, the call-out fee is waived. If we identify the fault but parts aren't available on the van, we charge the call-out (the engineer's time) and return next working day with the part — no second call-out fee.

Is the 24/7 line genuinely 24/7?

Yes — our 24/7 line is monitored around the clock. Daytime calls reach the engineer directly. Out-of-hours calls reach a duty engineer with a 15-minute call-back window. WhatsApp is also monitored 24/7 on the same number.

What if I have a gas leak?

Call the National Gas Emergency Service first on 0800 111 999 — they isolate the gas at the main. Then call us for the repair work once gas is safe. We are not the first responder to a gas leak; we are the company that repairs the underlying cause once the situation is safe.

Do PPM contract clients pay emergency rates?

PPM contract clients have agreed fixed call-out rates included in the annual contract fee, priority response (typically same-business-day in core hours), and no out-of-hours premium for genuine emergencies. The contract pays for itself with one significant call-out.
