Bathrooms

Full bathroom
fit-outs.

Because we're heating engineers and plumbers, you don't need a separate trade for the bathroom. One team, one programme: design, plumbing, electrics, tiling, finishing.

What we install

Included scope.

  • Full-fit bathrooms
  • En-suites & wet rooms
  • Showers (low / high pressure)
  • Walk-in & level-access
  • Bathroom extract & ventilation
  • Towel rails & UFH
  • Tiling & finishing
  • Multi-residential rotation
Our process

Design through to handover.

Bathroom installs combine plumbing, electrical, tiling and (often) ventilation. One project manager, one team, one timeline.

  1. Design consultation (free) — measure the space, agree the layout, walk through fittings options, photograph the existing room.
  2. Design pack + quote (1-2 weeks) — 3D layout, fittings list with prices, itemised labour, timeline. Revisions until you’re happy.
  3. Booking and equipment order (3-6 weeks) — specialist fittings can have 4-week lead times; we order once you accept and the deposit is in.
  4. Strip-out and first-fix (3-5 days) — remove the old bathroom, first-fix plumbing and electrics, structural work.
  5. Second-fix and finish (5-10 days) — tiling, sanitaryware, taps, shower, screens, electrics, paint, snagging.

Pricing guide

From-prices for Kent in 2026.

Bathroom pricing is range-driven. From-prices below assume a complete strip-and-replace install in an average-size domestic bathroom (3-4 m²).

  • Budget refresh (paint, taps, screen, electrics): from £2,500
  • Mid-spec full install (Roca / Hansgrohe range): from £8,500
  • High-spec full install (V&B / Duravit + premium tiles): from £14,000
  • Wet-room conversion: from £11,000
  • En-suite addition (new build): from £9,500
  • Underfloor heating retrofit: +£700-£1,400 depending on size

Quotes are always itemised — fittings priced at trade, labour as a fixed price for the scope.

Compliance

Part P, Part F, building regs.

Three regulatory layers to know about:

  • Part P (electrical safety in wet areas): all bathroom electrical work is notifiable; we self-certify under Part P competent-person scheme.
  • Part F (ventilation): mechanical extract is mandatory in any new or substantially refurbished bathroom. We size correctly to prevent condensation and mould.
  • Wet-room construction: tanking, falls and drain positions to BS 8000 — cuts the most common failure mode in wet-room installs (leakage through the floor).
  • Listed buildings: bathroom installs in listed properties often need Listed Building Consent if historic floors, ceilings or fittings are affected.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bathroom installation take?

A typical full bathroom install is 2-3 weeks on site for a domestic project. Strip-out and first-fix take 3-5 days, second-fix and finishing take 5-10 days, plus snagging. Larger or more complex installs (wet rooms, en-suite additions, multiple bathrooms) take 3-5 weeks.

Do you do the tiling and electrics in-house?

Yes. Our team covers plumbing, electrics (Part P certified), tiling and decorative finishing. No subcontracting of trades you didn't hire — the people on site are South East HVAC engineers and apprentices.

Can you design my bathroom from scratch?

Yes. We offer a free design consultation that includes measurement, 3D layout, fittings recommendation and itemised quote. Most clients sign off the design in 2-3 iterations. Specialist fittings have 4-week lead times so we book the install around the equipment.

Can you add underfloor heating to a bathroom?

Yes. Electric underfloor heating is straightforward as a retrofit (under tile, no screed). Wet underfloor heating needs a thicker build-up and works best as part of a full refloor — typically £700-£1,400 added to a bathroom install depending on size.

What warranty do you offer on bathrooms?

Two-year workmanship warranty on the install. Manufacturer warranties on fittings (typically 10 years on sanitaryware, 5-10 years on brassware, lifetime on some Hansgrohe lines). All paperwork registered on your behalf at handover.
